Despite sporting a far higher attack than even mithril weapons, they carry negative drawbacks that make them undesirable. Awesome, but Impractical: Cursed weapons.Automatic Crossbows: When archers are promoted to bowmasters, they swap their bows for giant crossbows that can fire barrages of arrows or explosive shells.Enemies with great support abilities but use it at the wrong times.A more prominent example of a boss would be Darksol, who would use a much weaker regular attack than his more powerful Demon Breath. For example, monsters with special abilities would do more damage with their special attacks that ignore defense than their regular attack that does less damage. Enemies that have much more damaging moves (spells or unique moves) than their regular attack, especially bosses, decide to use their weaker attack.Even when they do decide to heal someone, they always use the strongest healing spell they have available, even if the target is only slightly injured. Enemy healers get the worst of it, as they will often attack for low damage or do nothing during their turns instead of healing.Artificial Stupidity: The enemies you will face are.Downplayed with Arthur, who gets spells, having lived in a city of mages, but they're not great. Armor and Magic Don't Mix: Mages might be the best at defeating heavily armored enemies, but beware because of their low physical defense. This can sometimes lead to having to make painful decisions over who gets bumped from the team when a strong new character comes along. Arbitrary Headcount Limit: You can only have 12 characters in each battle (this is counting your mandatory leader character).Characters with low attack stats that only do Scratch Damage per attack will only get 1 XP for it.

You have won the moment you can use it 10 times per fight. Healing gives XP only if there was actual damage healed, but a minimum of 10 exp. Power up high enough and it's hard to find anything that'll give more than 1 EXP.
